Entertainment for All Ages

This year, BASC will serve a culinary fare that is as Bengali as it gets (with “Rui Maacher Kaalia” and “Fish Fry”) … and spice it up with a variety of entertainment programs catering to all generations – from devotional music to classical instrumental presentation to modern songs. Glimpses of the entertainment programs are given below.

A a music and dance ensemble presented by talented kids and adults of Southern California, celebrates this magical time of the year and the arrival of Devi Durga.

A notable young classical vocalist from Kolkata Shantanu Bhattacharya is known as doyen of the Patiala gharana gayaki and for his excellent performances in India and abroad.
