Message from Ankur Editorial Committee
Hello Members of the BASC community,
We have reached that time of year when the Editors of Ankur begin to prepare for the magazine's publication. This year, the deadline has been moved up to August 1 due to the possibility of printing the magazine in India or Mexico with the purpose of lowering costs.
Thus we encourage all of you to begin asking your children to either write an essay/poem/narration etc. or create an illustration and turn them in to one of the editors (contact info listed below). We will be accepting both black and white and colored submissions this year (as in previous years) however submissions that do not require color are preferable due to limited availability of colored pages.
Also, this year the Editors have decided to place a higher emphasis on the submission deadline. Thus any submission turned in past the deadline will be entered into next years publication. The stricter rules have been set into place in light of recent mistakes caused by articles being turned in past submission deadlines.
Finally, all submissions have a 3 page maximum to ensure that everyone has their articles published. That's it for now, however I will email periodically for further updates.
